See, back in the early to mid 2000's, 4chan was a very popular spot on the internet and represents how the internet was back in the day; basic text boards with some image exchange. This was also a time where said things took a billion hours to load on horrid XP based dial up. The internet grew up, but 4chan did not and instead turned into one of the worst shitholes on the internet. Seriously, the place was actually a great place to be and now it's literally like going to North Korea.
Bigger, "better" websites took it's place, for instance; Tumblr. For awhile, Tumblr was a useful service that provided the people of the world a way to post cute images of cats without going on places like Reddit. However, it too has fallen, to the millions of *cough* "social outcasts" and fandom extremities that plague it. Which is where our story begins.
See, there was this Tumblr blog that had a really big problem with 4chan. To the point where it called on Tumblr users to raid the website in the name of social justice and loads of other true or exaggerated crap. Now, 4chan gets "raid" threats constantly, and by raid, it's basically some low key "hackers" using pre made programs to slow down websites. Here was the post

You can tell that this is exactly how 4 year olds fight, which is what most of the 4chan and Tumblr users age group averages to.
Now, since I view 4chan as a shit stain on the internet and Tumblr as another shit stain with tear stains mixed in, I viewed this "war" as a childish exchange that accomplished nothing and changes nothing. This is just two immature websites bickering at one another. Really of no concern for anyone, but funny to point out because of the stupidity behind it all.

Moral of the story: Just use Reddit, or Google+, or something besides Tumblr or 4chan.
